ENG 1001, English Composition I 3 Credit Hours
The study and practice of the skills required for writing competent English sentences, paragraphs and short essays. A library orientation and an
introduction to English language history are included.ENG 1002, English Composition II 3 Credit Hours The study and practice of the skills required for writing formal and informal essays in
exposition, argumentation and satire. A term paper is required. Prerequisite: ENG 1001
ENG 2002 Technical and Professional Writing 3 Credit Hours The study and practice of
composing various types of formal and technical reports, including analytical, progress, letter and short reports. Proposal writing, thesis composition, and professional techniques are also stressed.Prerequisite: ENG
1003 ENG 3070 World Literature: The Great Traditions 3 Credit Hours A survey of World Literature from ancient times to the Renaissance, including works of the Greeks, Hebrews,
